Privacy policy

What this site collects and how it's used.

Effective date: July 19, 2026

Fourteen Feathers ("we," "us") runs this website at fourteenfeathers.com. This policy covers what we collect on this site and how we use it. Our businesses run their own websites and services under their own policies: Fourteen Feathers Bookkeeping, Funding Prep Studio, and Fourteen Feathers Nonprofit Partners.

Information we collect

If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, topic, and message you enter. The form also runs Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam check that may process technical details about your browser and connection. Beyond that, this site collects standard analytics data described under "Cookies and analytics" below. There are no accounts, no purchases, and no email list on this site.

How we use your information

We use what you send through the contact form to answer you and to route your question to the right business. We use analytics data to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

How we share information

We don't sell your information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the site and track inquiries (such as our hosting provider, spam protection, analytics, and the internal system where inquiries are logged), and only so they can do those jobs, or if the law requires it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you send us, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security.

How long we keep information

We keep contact-form messages as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and keep a record of our correspondence, then delete them when they're no longer needed.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact form and we'll take care of it.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand site usage (pages visited, general location, device type). Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. Analytics is on by default; you can opt out anytime using the cookie notice on this site, and you can also block cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine without them.

Children

This site is for adults running businesses and organizations. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States.
